I can't send or receive text messages?

I have an iPhone 4, iMessages send without a problem but randomly last night my messages stopped sending and I wasn't able to receive them either although it says they are sent from my phone and it says they are sent from other people's phones. I have tried updating my phone, my computer, resetting my phone, doing a hard reset, resetting the network settings, turning on and off airplane mode, and turning on and off do not disturb (these were all suggestions). I can call anyone and receive calls even if they do not have an iPhone. I can't figure this out please help!

Try calling your operator or customer service of your sim, or try asking on Apple forum site if you have problem with your phone. Normally no one can answer your question unless you ask on Apple Forum. Also it can be possible that you're not even turning your 'Mobile Data' on to text or even it's possible that you have blacklisted the app in Anti-Virus (if you have anti-virus).

  • Why can't i send or receive text messages? I have an Iphone 3Gs, and just recently I have not been able to send or receive text messages from one contact. When I try sending a message it says "received" but when we talk through facebook or anything else they inform me that they never got the message, and its the same with their phone, I never get the messages. Its becoming a big hassle and I just want the problem fixed. Can anyone help me out?
  • When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.

I have checked the service centre number which is correct, I have updated the ios software thing (I'm not too clever with Apple products but yes it's been updated).It says iMessage is waiting for activation but it has said this for ages now. I have tried absolutely everything with still nothing. I can make calls, use the internet, I can do everything else! I just can't send or receive text messages… Will someone please help me?
