I can't sync my iphone or ipad with kindle app?

So i have a kindle and i got an ipad, and when i downloaded the kindle app and synced it, everything was okay and i got all the books from my kindle account. But now i have downloaded the kindle app on my iphone and when i sync it, it says i have no books in the cloud even though i do. And now that i'm trying to buy a book, i can't because after the sample that is given, it doesn't give me the option to purchase anything. Please help me! I have no idea what to do and i really want to read this book!

Make sure the Kindle app on the iPhone is properly registered to the same Amazon account.

Then go to Amazon.com website w/ a computer or tablet, go to the Manage Your Kindle page and to the right of one of your Kindle purchases in the list pick Deliver to… And see if your Kindle on your iPhone is one of the choices - if it is NOT then it is not registered to your account or Amazon does not yet know it is. You may have entered the info wrong or you have not turned on Wi-Fi and picked Sync & Check for New Books (or anything to cause the app to connect to Amazon and send its registration info in)

And note - big exact-image PDF textbooks can only be sent to tablets and computers, nothing smaller.
