I can't turn on the Wi-Fi on my ios6 iphone?

Its all grey & i can't turn it on! How should i fix it?

Restore your iPhone via iTunes. Any OS glitches would be cleared.

But if you do not want the iOS7 update and just want to keep your current iOS 6. Then go to iPhone Settings -> General -> Reset and do a complete reset using Reset all contents and settings…

This would wipe everything out of your phone… So better take a manual backup in iTunes and then do the reset.

NOTE: if your iPhone is jailbroken, then do not use the second method… It will not turn the phone in to a reset loop and only way to get out if to do a iTunes restore…

So check your option carefully.

  • IPhone lock button broken. Can turn off but how do i turn it on? The lock button at the top of my iphone is broken, but i have been using it fine as i have turned on 'Assistive Touch' and have been using the white dot that appears on screen. However, I'm worried about turning it off, and surely the white dot will disappeaer when the phone is off, and I will have no way of turning it on? Am I correct in thinking this?
