I cracked my iPhone 6 screen, any tips?
How difficult is it to fix it on your own? I checked some youtube videos and it seems if I'm careful I should be fine. I also read an article that warned me not to fix the screen on my own because the battery is fragile and it can blow up and release poisonous gas.So far the cheapest repairer i found is apple($109), is there any cheaper options? I added a picture and you can see it is a pretty bad crack.
i want to fix the screen for the cheapest price… Any tips? 
Well there are a couple of things you should think about here.
If you do decide to replace it yourself, it is very very very tricky and even if you connect all the pieces and get the screen back into place, 9/10 your digitizer or back light might now power on.
If you decide to get it fixed from someone that's not Apple, you will probably spend lots of money for a low quality screen. And if you ever had to give Apple your phone bald for some reason, they do a diagnostic test on the phone and will see that you have a screen that isn't there's and will refuse to fix, replace, or take back your device.
When you invest into an apple device it's never going to be cheap to repair or add components from the Apple Store. But it will be the most safest and reliable place you can get it repaired
- My iPhone 4 battery life is short. Any tips? My iPhone 4 battery is pretty short. I already know about lowering the brightness, turning off Bluetooth, and closing apps that I don't use but is there anything else I can do? Oh yea and it loses a lot of battery when it's off. - How to know if I cracked the LCD on my Iphone; or not, when I cracked my screen? I dropped my iphone 4S and cracked the screen pretty bad. The screen still works perfect. I need to buy a replacement glass lens. Before I do that I need to know if the LCD on the screen is broken but I have no idea what that means. Any insight would be appreciated.
