I deleted some pictures off my iphone 5, is there a way to recover them?

I never backed up my phone to my computer, but my friend had connected my iphone to his computer a little while ago to put music on it, while the pictures were still on it. If i connect it to his computer will there be a way to recover these photos? Because i tried connecting my phone to my computer but it does not say that there's a device connected.someone help

Check your Photo Stream or iCloud. They might be saved in one or both of those.

Sorry man, there's no way to recover back your pictures on your iphone u delete them they gone man sorry

Here's a little trick I found out while browsing the files deep in my iPhone (I have the 4S.) Pretty neat stuff.

Connect your phone to whoever's computer. Open up iTunes and let it backup your device completely.

-Open up finder.
-Click on your little house under 'places' on the left side, aka the name of the user of the laptop/computer.
-Click Library. It should be a customized-looking folder.
-Click Application Support.
-Click MobileSync
-Click Backup.
-Locate the most recent backup. The folder will have a bunch of letters and numbers. Open it.
-Careful! These are all pictures and saved caches on your iPhone! Preview them privately, as something you have may sent or received 4 months ago in a text message can easily still be there!

-Click 'Documents and Settings.'
-Click on the username you backed up your iPhone to.
-Click 'Application Data.'
-Click 'Apple Computer.'

-Locate your 'Users' folder.
-Click on your username that you backed up your iPhone to.
-Click 'AppData.'
-Click 'Roaming.'
-Click 'Apple Computer.'
-Click 'MobileSync.'
-Click 'Backup.'
-Locate the most recent backup. The folder will have a bunch of letters and numbers. Open it.
-Careful! These are all pictures and saved caches on your iPhone! Preview them privately, as something you have may sent or received 4 months ago in a text message can easily still be there!

If you have a huge amount of 'Other' space in your phone, take a look at all these pictures that are hidden in it and try to figure out where they may be saved in your phone. If you can't locate them (whether it was by a text message, photo-app, recently sent e-mail) then it may be time to reformat your phone, unless you've jailbroken your iPhone and can look at every single folder and alter values and delete things.

But that's not even what you're asking for. Just me rambling.
