No, they aren't allowed to unlock phones like that, the best thing you can probably do is attempt to reconnect it to the computer and sign into your itunes and it will allow you to unlock it from there

Put your iPhone in DFU mode and restore it in iTunes. This will erase everything off of your phone though.

I don't think Apple will unlock it for you. How can you prove to them that you bought the phone?

Disabling your iphone only lasts for a while. You're not that desperate to get back into the phone. And they can't do that for ya. Sorry bud.

You would have to pay to have it unlocked. You could also buy the unlock code online

So I have an iPhone 4 and the lock button broke on it and now the home button is starting to go… It is still in its first year of purchase, so apparently I can go in and they will give me a new one? Or will I have I pay to get it fixed? If so how much? How long of a wait would it be, because its a 40 minute drive to the apple store and rides are limited so I would have to get it done all same day…
