I Don't know my password
Okay so last night I went out with some friends and got a little(LOT) drunk. My friend thought it would be funny to put a password on my phone and not tell me and today she didn't remember. I hooked my phone up to itunes and tried to restore it. BUT it said it couldnt do something or another because of the password on my phone… And i don't know it… How can i reset it? I have the iPhone 4s
Go into your nearest carrier and they should be able to unlock it for you. I mean, don't stress, if you can lock it, you can unlock it.
A. Find an INTELLIGENT friend to hang out with next time, one whose memory isn't trashed from too much alcohol.
B. Call your provider. They'll be able to fix it and make some money by charging you, too.

- Locked iPhone, don't know the password? I have an iPhone 4s through AT&T and the other day one of my friends decided it would be cool to set a password on my phone and not tell me what it was. It was just meant to be a joke but they don't remember what the password was so now my phone is locked and I can't access anything because I don't know the password. What do I do!
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?

However when I tried to restore my old phone's data I restored the wrong phone.
