I don't understand straight talk?
I'm confused about the company through Walmart called straight talk. It's a prepaid company but there two sims that are different. Basically there's a 14.99 sim that you could buy and then there's a 45 dollar sim that you could buy that's unlimited. But on YouTube everyone uses the 14.99 sim and that sim doesn't even have a data plan or minutes? Unless it does but it's not under the details on straighttalk.com so my question is, is the 45 dollar plan a starter kit that comes with the sim? Or is it just a plan that you purchase for the 14.99 SIM card? & can someone please explain to me how it works on an iphone if youve never been with a company & don't have a number?
Straight talk is a company that goes through AT&T towers. The second one just comes with one month of service, their the same price I recommend just getting the $15 one. You choose the plan. The best one is $45 for unlimited everything. You call up with your sim number later and they will give you the service.
The $14.99 is the price of the sim card.
The $45 is the price of the unlimited airtime plan airtime card. This is not a sim card. This is a paper card with a pin number on the back of the card. This looks like a large credit card that is made out of paper.
If you want to bring your own phone to use with Straight Talk service you will have to buy the $14.99 sim card and the $45 airtime card. You will need to add a new airtime card every 30 days to maintain your phone number and service for your phone. Since you want to use a Iphone with Straight Talk service you will need to buy a sim card and a airtime card for the first month of your service. For each month after that you will only need to buy the $45 airtime card.
If you want to use a Straight Talk brand phone, you do not need to buy a sim card for $14.99. You will just need to buy a Straight Talk brand phone and the $45 unlimited talk, text and web airtime card.
I do not know if Straight Talk offers starter kits for their phones. If they do it would include $45 airtime card and you would be getting the $14.99 sim card for free.
If you go to Wal-Mart, they will show you what you need to buy to be able to use a Iphone.
You will have to go home and put the sim card into your phone. Then you will need to go to the Straight Talk website and activate the sim card with the $45 airtime card so your phone has service.
You may want to go to the Straight Talk website and take a look before you buy the sim card and airtime card so you know what you are doing before you set up your phone for the first time.
