I drop my iPhone 5 in toilet. What do I do?
I dropped my iPhone 5 in the toilet while it was still on. It didn't go off. I was able to turn the phone off & on & it's still working now. I dried it off really good. Is it going to eventually go out? I was able to use the phone receive & call out.
Get an iPhone 6?
It's probably best if you put it in a bag of rice for a day or two just to make sure the moisture is absorbed completely. If it stops working just get a new phone, but you'll have to pay fully for it, as the Apple warrenty doesn't cover water damage.
STOP USING IT! The insides of the phone is wet and using it will cause it to over heat and fry the motherboard.
1: Turn it off
2: put your phone in rice for at least 24 hours
the dried rice absorbs moisture out of the phone.
If its still working you lucked out lol if there was any damage going to be done it would of been immediately
- Will the iPhone 6s price drop with the release of the iPhone SE next week? I've been thinking of getting the 6s for a while now and I know the price has dropped quite a bit since it's release but I want to know if it's still worth waiting a bit if it'll go down again once the new phone comes out. I know previously in iPhone history this is usually what happens but considering the fact that this phone will be cheaper I don't know if the same thing would happen. Any info would be great, thanks!
