I droped my iphone 4s in water now it can't get signal what do i do?
I droped my iphone 4s in water it was working fine the first few hours now it can't get signal anywere what do i do
Let it dry out 2-3 days. If it still doesn't work then take it to an apple store.
Try putting it in rice, then go to apple store
If you have no insurance then you are pretty much stuffed i'm afraid some people get there water damaged phones to work again but not many if the signal is gone then the antenna is obviously the most affected part of the phone.
Put it in your hot press in a bowl of rice, the rice will absorb any excess water left in the phone, i had a similar problem with my old phone and rice fixed my water damage, leave it in there for a day or so
You should not have turned it on after it got wet. Let it dry for a few days and try it again. If it still doesn't work, you'll probably have to replace it.
- My iPhone has water in it how can I get the water out? I got a little bit of water in it at my pool and it shutoff within a minute or so, it won't turn back on and I have had it in rice for over 10 hours.
- Jailbroke iPhone, now NO signal on ANY network? Cydia, iOS 6.0, 3GS? I jailbroke my iPhone purely because I want to unlock it to all networks (I live in Australia and it's a British phone). I used evasi0n and now I have Cydia installed on the phone. I also installed ultrasn0w from Cydia app store. Not only does the phone not work with my Aussie SIM card, it now no longer works with the Original simcard (it was working fine before the jailbreak). It just says "searching" and then eventually "SOS only". Any help tech experts?
- Is there anything I can get to boost my iPhone 4S signal inside my house? When I'm outside, my signal usually sits around 3 bars, but once I go into my apartment, I almost immediately loose my signal. Are there any products that I can get to increase my signal in my apartment? Any ideas would help.
- Is a Wi-Fi signal blocked by water? I have bought a gopro, it creates a Wi-Fi network that you can pick up with your iphone to controll the gopro. As soon as i throw the camera in the pool (yes it is waterproof) i can't see the gopro on my iphone anymore. When i pull it out it pops up again. So is the Wi-Fi signal blocked by water or is there another reason for this?
