I Dropped my iphone 4S in the pool?

I dropped my iphone in the pool for about 2 seconds only about a foot down. I had an otter box on it and quickly took of the case and dried it off. It worked fine til about 30mins ago the home button stopped working and I can no longer charge it. I just the phone 3 weeks ago and was wondering how much it would cost for a new one or the warranty would cover it. I have Verizon if that matters. I'm just really sad that my new phone is ruined.

Most likely, a water damage indicitor was set off. If so, you have no warranty coverage.

You dropped it in a pool? You went easy on it. I would've thrown it in the ocean. Android FTW

If you got the Apple warranty when you bought the phone it should cover accidents like dropping it in the pool. If you didn't get the warranty you'll have to pay around 600 to get a new iPhone 4S. I would call Verizon just to make sure.

My back camera has water droplets inside the camera (it looks foggy) and my flash won't shut off. My phone was on 75% when I dropped it. It's been 5 and a half hours. Shouldn't the battery have died already? Will my phone ever work again? And how long should I keep my phone in the rice?
