I dropped my iphone 4s in water last night! - 1

Okay so last night i was at a party drinking and i dropped my iphone 4s in water sometime between 8pm and 12am. I don't remember exactly what happened, but i know it wasn't working at first. Then it turned on and was working except when i tried to call someone i couldnt hear anything. It rang, i just couldnt hear the person talking. Then my phone died. This morning around 10 i tried charging it, and the apple would show as if it were going to turn on, but then it would go black and then show the apple again. It never fully turned on though. So then i put my phone in rice and its been left alone in there ever since. I don't remember how long it was in the water or how much water it was in or anything like that. How long should i leave it in the rice before trying to charge it? Do you think it will work again?

Leave it in the rice for 48 hours plus suck out all the water from your mouth and cool dry it with a fan or something
make sure it's properly switched off
when it's all dried up 2 days later, try charging it and try switching it on gently.
you might see the apple logo and that loading thing
then put it on charge as soon as possible then use the apple usb cable with your laptop/computer to restore the software on it, once you've done that, if you've backed up your files then it will restore everything on your phone for you aswell when it asks you if you want to set it up as a new iphone or restore the back up file on it. Then after when all of that is done. It will load again and a while later there you go, you've successfully saved your phone and it's working perfectly again!

One thing that will not work anymore is the home button which you should make an appointment with Apple and they will install a new home button on it for you meaning they'll replace that old home button.
