I dropped my iphone 5 in the bathtub and now the touch screen won't work

So I was in the bathtub playing with my iphone I got TODAY! Then I accidently dropped it.being just like me, I pcked it up and cleaned it, then like a stupid person, I turned it on and the screen was all weird so I left it there for about 5 mins. Then I tried again and I could play music on it, but the I can't slide the thingy where you unlock the iphone, so then I tuned it off and it started making this weird noise, so I turned it on again. And suddenly the sound was gone, and when I turn it off again the sound started, but it lasted shorter, so I kept doin it and eventually it sometimes stopped completey and other times it just kept doin it and I read online that I should have turnd it off so I started panicking(yeah real mature), and turned the iphone off with the home and lock button since the screen doesn't work unless I press cancel when I asked it to shut down. All the buttons work but the screen doesn't. I want an easier wa to fix my iphone and I can't put it in rice because I didn't get any, and I need my phone tomorrow! So please help me! Its been like 5 hours and 10 mins ago I turned it on agin out of curiosity because I no sometimes things fix if you se it down a bit. But th screen won't work but I can still listen to music! Please please please please hlep me! And tell me wats broken

Take it to the apple store.

I would take it to the Apple store and ask for a new one

You can try putting it in rice, but most likely it woun't work. If your under your one year apple warranty an apple store might be able to help ( you can check here with serial number https://selfsolve.apple.com/...ntyDynamic. Do ) but usually they wount cover self inflicted problems. You can also try holding the home and power button at the same time until powered of to put it in dfu mode. Then connect it to a computer (ONCE DRIED) and try restoring the device thus earsing all data. But water damage fries mainboard and could possibly have no repair withought replacing it wich is basically buying a new one.
