I dropped my iphone 5s and now my camera and flashlight don't work what happened?
I just dropped my phone and cracked it for the first time today, but it fell on the rear camera side and still somehow cracked. Only the top right corner has a small crack but when i tried to use my camera and my flashlight i can't use it anymore i even restarted the phone and downloaded the flashlight app but it says that it is a hardware issue. How can I fix this?

There's your problem.
The cables inside a smartphone are *very* thin, and it may be possible for parts of the frame to scissor together and cut anything passing through them.
Or you could be lucky and the connectors (also very small) merely fell out and just need to be put back in place.

The flashlight is part of the 'upper component cable'.
What most likely happened was when the drop accrued the camera was disconnected from the motherboard. That would be the best case situation. Worst case you may just need to replace it. - Why won't my flashlight & back camera work on iphone? My front camera works fine but when i try to flip the camera it won't do anything or it's just a black screen. When i try to use my flashlight it says that it's on but it won't work. I did drop my phone hours before it started doing this, i don't know if that's what caused it or if it's something else. & i've already reset my phone twice & that didn't fix anything. - Why does an iPhone have a better flashlight than an actual flashlight? Its so sad lol, I tested out my flashlight on my iphone and it was amazing! It also had a flashlight which is like a signal and it blinks from fast to slow and also with the iphone camera you can change the brightness of the flashlight! Flashlights can't do any of that. What's your opinion?
- IPhone 4 Back Camera/Flashlight not working? So I'm running iOS 6.0.1 Jailbroke. Everything was fine until one day I went to Snapchat and my camera was black. I can switch the view to the front and it works fine. I have NCSettings, which is toggles in the NC, and when I turn the flashlight on it doesn't come on. If I open the Camera.app the shutter stays shut. The only app I can access just the front camera is Snapchat. So I'm stuck on this one…
