I dropped my iPhone 6 and sound doesn't work at all?
So I dropped my phone in the hallway. Screen protector cracked, but seemed fine. However, music/podcasts/YouTube won't play with headphones or through speakers. When I call people, I can hear the ringing, but the other person can't hear me. I've already tried restarting my phone.
Time to hit a repair shop and see what they can do or take it back to Apple if it's covered by Applecare.
You will have to replace it. I know - bummer. You're not alone, I did the same thing last year.
Take it to an Apple store and ask them to figure it out.
No question, then?
I think there's some kind of issue with the sound system of your phone. You need ask some professional cell phone repairer to check it out.
- When I sing I sound good in my head but on recording it doesn't sound as good? I understand why this is but I want to know if it is because my iPhone recording quality isn't good. If not how do I actually listen to how others hear me sing.
- Iphone exposed to steam and now the sound doesn't work properly? So my iPhone 5s was exposed to hot water steam. Everything is working fine except for one thing. The outside speaker seems garbled and whenever I play music out loud, it seems extremely garbled. However, when I put in headphones, it sounds fine. How should I fix this?
- I woke up today and the sound on my iPhone 4S doesn't work I tried turning up the volume but it just doesn't work it says ringer with the volume thingy all the way up.
- I dropped my IPhone in the toilet, and now my home button doesn't work? 2 days ago I dropped my IPhone 4 in the toilet, and pulled it out right away. I dried it off quickly and it was perfectly fine and nothing was wrong. But then last night, my home button started to not work unless I pressed it 10+ times… I have the accessible touch thing on, but I was wondering if could fix this myself?
