I dropped my iphone earpods in a soft drink what should i do?

One side only fell now it is relatively quieter than the other side even though I took the same second it fell then rinsed it with water and left it to dry, I tried high frequency sound tracks to shake the driver
but still nothing
tell me what to do

Added (1). These are not the standard these are the earpods

Put it in a bag of dry rice. The rice pulls out the water.

You could go to your settings app, general, accessibility, and slide the hearing towards the broken earphone side. It will dim the other side and it will boost the broken one to make it seem equal again. Just a slight fix until you get another headphones.

Put them in rice to allow water (soda) to be dried out! Maybe rinse first, then dry rice(uncooked) :)

If it was plugged in when you dropped it in the soft drink it is probably done for. If it wasn't then I would say running it under the water broke it. Best to get new ones. Anyways standard iPod headphones suck.

Get better headphones that aren't made by apple.

  • What will a soft reset on an iPhone 5 do? My messages are messing up (not going through, saying they don't go through but really do, etc.), so I think I need to do a soft reset (holding down sleep and home button) on my iPhone 5. Will this delete my pictures, apps, contacts, and messages, etc?

  • What was the last thing you bought other than food or drink? I'm trying to understand what people buy other than food and drink as what I see on the news all the time that no one has money but someone mush be buying something? Well the last thing I bought was a phone changer as the iphone 5 chargers always break.
  • Silicone (soft) vs hard plastic iPhone case? Will the silicone or hard plastics iPhone cases protect the phone more from dropping it? Also, do life proof life cases really work well for dropping your phone or getting it wet?
