I dropped my iPhone headphones?
In dirt 2 days ago, I cleaned them with sopy water and Lysol wipes would it be safe to use them in my ears just incase I get an ear infection? Or should I just by new headphones?
Yes, they're safe to use.
Our ear canals are long and make it very difficult for "bugs" (bacteria, virii, pathogens) to get in. You can get an ear infection that way only if you put very "dirty" (infected) water directly into your ear canal. And even then you probably won't (ear wax in our ears protects us from pathogens in rivers and oceans).
Next time the headphones fall on dirt, you really don't need to clean them. You can simply wipe them with any alcohol towelette -- the kind used to wipe your fingers, or wipe a baby's body.
BTW… Dirt really isn't that dangerous to us -- we've gone through thousands of years of evolution -- even eating dirt (on fruits and veggies).
- Will my iPhone alarm go off with headphones plugged in? I like to listen to music before I fall asleep, but I use my iPhone as my alarm for work in the morning. If I fall asleep with my headphones in, will the alarm still go off (like on the phone speakers, not just the headphones)?
- Why don't my iPhone headphones with mic work with my Mac? When I plug my headphones in, they work fine. The remote works too. I just can't get the mic to work. System Preferences doesn't detect them, and I can't set them up with Audio MIDI Setup. They work perfectly on my iPhone, but not my Mac. I know they work with Mac's, because I have seen people state on the Apple website that they do. I need help! MacBook Pro 13 inch (Early 2011) Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4
- Why aren't my headphones to my iPhone 4s not working? I just got the iPhone 4s a couple of months ago. I haven't even touched my headphones until last night, & they're not working? I'm trying to listen to Pandora. I dunno what's going on. It seems if I screw in the headphones extra tight and keep hold it plays through the headphones for a second. Anyone else have this problem or know why this is happening?
- My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
