I dropped my iPhone in the pool and its dead what do I do?

I was doing chores in the pool area and checked my phone but I missed when I tried to put it in my pocket and it fell into the pool. When I got it out it was dead and we already tried the rice theory it didn't work. What do I do besides sending it to apple

Open the inside and try to use an electronic cleaner spray to remove all water and moisture. Let it dry with a hair dryer and hopefully it will turn-on.

There's a bag don't knw its name.well it absorbs water from your smartphone… Not an ordinary bag, I saw it on Tech tour on discovery science! Hope it helps you

Buy a water-resistant Android.

I would recommend buying a galaxy and the way to fix it try to get the back cover off and remove the battery and put the battery back in after that plug in your charger and hold the power button or you can also hold the power and the home at the same time

There's a very strong chance your phone is dead. Total water immersion while the device is running is often a death sentence for electronics. You can attempt to dry the phone but unless the phone is off this is only marginal at best

  • IPhone 4 was dropped in my pool? I got it out and didn't think to turn it off. I had music playing and it stopped. I dried it off and it's been in a bowl of rice since 5. My back camera has water droplets inside the camera (it looks foggy) and my flash won't shut off. My phone was on 75% when I dropped it. It's been 5 and a half hours. Shouldn't the battery have died already? Will my phone ever work again? And how long should I keep my phone in the rice?

My mom took it away a few moths ago and she can't for the life of her remember where it is so please don't say "just try to find it". I have verizon I don't know if there's a way to track it through that?
