I dropped my IPHONE in water?
I dropped my iPhone in the toilet. (clean toilet water -.-) and it doesn't work. I put it in rice for 24 hours in the airing cupboard, just took it out and it still doesn't work. I have put it in charge but it isn't connecting or anything. Can you help me please because i really really don't know what to do! My mum is gonna kill me if it doesn't work!
Also, no stupid answers. I don't care who you are but i'm NOT in the mood. If you know the answer then please tell me! But don't write stupid ones, coz i WILL report you.
Put it out in the sun for 7 hours.It'll dry up all the water inside
Have you got insurance? Try an claim off that. Also if the water has got into the actual circuit you won't get it to work sorry. Just tell you mum it was an accident or that a friend did it.

and the rice trick doenst work on the iphone
The iPhone is beyond fixing point by the sounds of it, best thing you could do is sell the parts separately that have no electrical base such as the casing (if in good condition), these could total up to around $5 which would make for a lovely lunchtime meal?
Prepare to die. You have to appreciate that water is death to all electronics. Even if it dries out there will be a residue of microscopic particles which will short out the phone. A lesson in life on taking care of mobile phones.

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in water - 3 I just dropped my phone in water about a minute ago(it's 9:25 PST). I hurried up and got it out dried it off as fast as I could. It was working fine until now. It keeps popping up "charging not supported on this device" and also I just found out the sound isn't working! Now I can't even listen to all the money I spent on my songs.
