I dropped my iPhone in water yesterday?

And my friend said I should put it in a bowl of rice to attract Asians to come fix it. Is this true or is he being a racist bigot? The Asians at my dad's work are always eating rice, so I'm confused about that one.

Put it in rice and leave it for a couple days. If you haven't already put it in rice then it might be too late. You want to get it into the rice as fast as possible. The rice will absorb the water and sometimes it helps make it work again. It is really the only thing you can do to help fix it. Your warranty is now void, so Apple won't do anything for you. Rice is your best bet.

This is why Americans are stereotyped dumb, which I think is true. Supposedly, rice absorbs the water. Well, it worked for my cousin when she accidentally washed it.
