I emailed my employees at midnight last night asking them important uesrions about our past week's sales while I was on vacation. Why?

Why didn't they respond last night when I asked. Now it's Sunday and I still have not heard. They all have iPhones and though our store is closed on sat and Sunday I expect them to be "full time" employees that respond eapecially when I'm out of the country on vacation. I also text some of them after midnight and no response either. I KNOW THEY GET TEXT MESSAGES. I'll be very upset if I don't hear from them until Monday morning hen they arrive at work. Some might get fired. I expect communication

Well bully for you!

Are you paying them enough?

If your not paying them overtime every day for a 24 hour response, and you expect it, your nuts. They have lives too.

They won't even SEE the e-mail until they get to work Monday.
Of course, if you actually HAD employees, you would already know that. At minimum, you would know WE can't read their minds.
You Can't know they actually SEE the texts.

Troll.

They are obliged to talk to you at work, not at any other time, do you pay them when they are not working? Of course you don't, so why expect them to work for nothing? Slavery is illegal, so talk to them when you are all at work, if you want meetings before or after work you have to pay them, be a reasonable, legal boss.
