I entered my iphone serial number and received this?

I went to this page of apple.com: https://expresslane.apple.com/Issues.action and entered my serial no in the coverage status and received this message: Our records indicate that this product has been replaced. Please provide the serial number for your replacement product to find the support and warranty coverage information.
what does this message mean?

I means that Apple has already had to deal with a problem related to that phone and has resolved the problem by sending out a new phone. It sounds as if you have got your phone from a dodgy source.

Call them. Talk to them about your situation.

they may still replace your phone or give you a discount because you were 'dodged' on this one.
