I facepalm a lot without meaning to but it offends everyone?

I tend to facepalm a lot in RL, it's just a habbit and doesn't mean I'm exasperated, but when I do it it gives off the Eric message. (I mean wrong message sorry for typo, iPhone hanged everything you type and I get fed up so I often down go back to delete it I just leave it)

Anyway back on topic, my facepalming is becoming socially debilitating and it's just a habbit I'm having trouble breaking. Any advice?

Yeah I mean, not to be too tough on you, but facepalming in real life is socially stupid, it makes people feel you think they are ridiculous, stupid, out of line, crazy, etc. It is a really rude thing to do.

What do you mean advice on how to stop? You just stop, it is not easy to break any habit, but it is not something that can be made easier with some quick fix advice; there's none. Cut it out.

"Just a habit" gives the impression you are not in control of your actions, everyone knows you are, and no one buys that "reason."
