I Feel guilty for getting an iPhone?

Okay, so I got an iPhone 5c bc my dad had an upgrade and he said I could take it and he would take my phone. I had an iPhone 5, and now I feel guilty bc I didn't really need it and I should have just let him get whatever phone he wanted. I'm a teen, and most ppl my age got the 5s but I didn't really want that one plus it was more expensive. Is there anything I can do to make the feeling go away?

Not really I mean couldn't you wait you already had the 5 one it was his turn to get a phone. But if he didn't want it then you shouldn't feel guilty he gave it to you because he doesn't care.

Don't know that feel

Well first of all hunnie, We have had similar situations.
My dad has had so many phones he wanted before. Then i wanted a phone when i turned 16. I got instrested in phones. He got me samsung as a first new phone. Then i messed up that phone's keyboard. I didn't knew much so, then my brother who works got me Blackberry. Then i also bought a cover for it. My dad had a touch screen phone. Then he lost that one. It was his 5th time losing phones so he gave up and starting using brick phones. And recently i lost my blackberry phone It was my first time. I told my dad but he said wait till he gets me new one. I waited for weeks and weeks. So i told my brother and my brother got me apple iphone5. I was so happy and i showed my mum and dad. Dad was angry asking y would he get me so expensive stuff at young age. I'm just 17 turning 18 in two months time. So i couldnt be happy and i told him to take it. I don't need any phones. But he didn't see my face when i said that. And he took it from me and told me he will get me phone on the weekend. I was really upset. My mum told me let your dad have it. He wanted iphone since before. So i had to lose my feelings and i just kept the iphones headphone to myself as a rememberance. Anyways you are lucky your dad got u a new phone whichever you like.

He loves u a lot and your happiness means more to him. If he gets phone whichever he likes and not seeing u happy will hurt him. He is earning money to bring u up and also wants you to be happy so he wants to give you whatever you like.
Plus hey, why would our parents (old age) ppl be interested in phone. We teenagers are more into phones.

i got nokia phone now. Its not good though.

I wouldn't worry about it, no reason to feel guilty on anything like that.

There's really no difference between both of those iPhones. I have this iphone 4 and I love it, it has the latest update and looks good just like the newer iPhones.

  • Should I feel guilty for stealing my neighbours Wi-Fi? I know it's stupid And it's not really "stealing" as they just don't put a password. I connect my iphone/mac/ps3 to their Wi-Fi Is it weird I feel a bit bad? Tho I still do it heh but it's pretty much their fault right? I ain't complaining but should I feel bad
  • Is it normal to feel this guilty? I come from a rich family and I'm always guilty! I hate when I have something that others don't have it makes me feel guilty and depressed. Like if I have my nails polished and someone else doesn't I feel very bad i don't know why but I hate this… I have an iPhone but if I go to a sleepover and my friend doesn't have one I get very sad! Am I spoiled? Why do I feel this way?
  • Is it normal to feel guilty after buying something expensive for yourself? My dad bought me a iPhone 4S because i really wanted one and because he said i deserved it and i needed a phone. I previously had a cheap android phone that i rarely used. I feel guilty for wasting my dads hard earned money and i feel like i'm spoiled and i don't deserve it. I do get good grades though. Any ideas to help me stop feeling guilty please? Its eating me up. My dad said that its okay and we still has a lot of money. But i still feel guilty.
  • I spent 33 dollars on iphone 5 cases and I feel really guilty. Should I return a few? I don't know why. I just think it's a little too much on iphone cases. I bought 9 of them through ebay, but they're So cute! Should I return a few?
