I found an iphone6? Read the details?
I found an iphone6 plus on my way to school. I looked around to see if it was anyone's but there was no one around. So it's been about a month now and I have finally found a iphone charger to charge it. It work perfectly fine, but rip the front camera. Anyways, my problem is that it has a password. How the hell do I unlock it? I need real answers, not a 12 year trying to troll.
That's called " stealing by finding" you should hand it in to the police
Quite simply you don't, and the security is such that you are not going to be able to. If the security were that easy to bypass what would be the point of it!
I'm not giving it to the police you dumb a*s who would do that?
There's no way past the password of course. Its a security feature for this very reason.
How do you get past the password? You don't.
How do you get past the carrier blacklist of the iPhone's IMEI or ESN? You don't. The phone is now a brick, once the original owner reported it lost or stolen.
Now what you can do it take it to the carrier that should show up when you turn the phone on, ask them to have the original owner contact you (yes you leave them with your contact info), and IF the original owner decides to contact you, explain that you found their phone a month or so ago, and if they want it back. More likely than not, they have already replaced it, and MAY be willing to get the blacklist lifted if it was not replaced by insurance that is, so that you can use the phone. If it was replaced by insurance, the insurance company owns the phone and they are not lifting the blacklist.
Ew you're the type of annoying person to say "finders' keepers! Losers' weepers!"
Most likely… YOU DON'T because of original owner may have engaged the Activation Lock, which permanently locks the phone to their Apple ID in order to prevent others from using it, even if you perform a factory reset. This is done as anti-theft measure (which Android Phones have this security feature as well).
Once you attempt to activate the iPhone with Apple's servers (or for Android phones, Google's servers), that Activation Lock kicks in & will prevent anybody except the rightful owner to proceed.
There's also the potential issue of the phone being reported as stolen to the cell phone carriers, which will place the phone's IMEI number (which can't be modified as it's hardcoded into the phone circuity) on all the blacklists for at least 2 years. If you attempt to utilize a blacklisted phone, your cell services would be IMMEDIATELY SUSPENDED by your carrier's automated system as a result… Which a call to your cellphone provider would likely expose & the customer service rep will tell you to place your SIM card in a different phone & will ask for that phone's IMEI number PRIOR to restoring services (since their automated systems would resuspend service if the blacklisted IMEI is still present on their next sweep).
You're better off find who the carrier is by the SIM card. While there's a fair amount of industry info hidden in the SIM card number (aka ICCID), it's not easily apparent to those outside the cell industry. You may find a website that can help you ID the carrier by the SIM card number, which allows you to hand it over to a representative of that carrier… Which would take the necessary steps (in accordance to their policies) in returning the phone to the proper owner.
You are not even worth being on this earth. What if someone with no morals did that to you, dummy!
I'm sorry people are being annoying, I'm pretty sure anyone that finds a iPhone and nobody is around, they would take it but whatever. To answer your question, the only way I can think of is that you go to your phone carrier and you switch out the SIM card and just start over. If you can't do that then there's no way to unlock it unless you know the Apple ID and password so you can restore it.
