I got scammed on craigslist?
I was buying a phone to replace my Lg Nexus 4. So I went to craigslist & searched "Unlocked iPhone 5". Anyways, I ended up buying an iPhone from a lady named Christy, she provided me the IMEI number and I checked on iphoneimei.info, and it said it was sim unlocked… Come to find she gave me the wrong imei number! I've never had an iPhone before so I had no idea the imei # was right on the back of the phone. I made an extremely naive decision, and now i'm out $280 because she won't answer my calls now. I'm 19 and in college full time with no job, I don't have money to just go and buy another one. What can I do?! SOMEBODY Help.
Well no one here can make her give the money back. It's a shame we have scammers like that out there, they should be beaten with a sock full of pennies. Basically you could only use it as an ipod touch. Instead of buying used in that case, why not just get 4S which is free on a 2 year contract?
Does it display no networks? No signal if so you can sell them on ebay as no signal phones btw becasue u won't get no money back of Craiglist and ill email you justgiving for you x

So i got scammed someone sent a check for $2300 for a iphone 6 i was spose to send 1300 back i'm out $2300 now but i have my iphone i was waiting for the check to clear and it never did and now i owe $2,030.00 to USAA is it possible to even find these people who have been telling me to send money back and my iphone and stuff?
