I've been scammed on Craigslist?

Some posted a ad on Craigslist selling an iPhone and the they said they were in a different state I send them money thru money gram and they never shipped the phone can I get my money back and get them arrested all I have is their state and name thank you

You can't get your money back from a Monogram transfer. And the name they gave you is fake, the person who picked up the money was probably in Belarus or Nigeria or some other country
The name and state mean nothing, anyone with the tracking number can pick up that money. In many third world countries people don't have any ID so they just give the tracking number

And you never buy phones off Craigslist unless you can meet the seller at the phone store, have the phone checked to make sure it's not stolen or fake, and transfer the account right there. Almost all of them are either stolen or Chinese clones, or they don't exist at all

Any time you can't meet the seller in person and inspect the item before you pay, you are going to get scammed

You can file a police report but you chances of getting your money back are nil

You'll never see that money again. Money gram and western union is scam alert. NEVER do transactions with these with people you do not know. Lesson learned.

It was probably someone in china or russia, so forget it, your money is gone. If you were foolish enough to believe everything you hear and wire money, then you deserve to lose it. Someone in china is having a few drinks at the bar right now on your dime.
