I had to factory reset my computer and lost all my itunes music?
I have all my music and apps on my phone, but the original itunes account I used was disabled so I had to make a new account that I use now. However, in order to put new music on my phone it wants me to delete all my music off my iphone. Is there any way to connect the two accounts or move my music from my phone into my itunes so I don't have to delete it and lose all of it?
"in order to put new music on my phone it wants me to delete all my music off my iphone"
umm, where did you get that idea? You only need to erase old music when you choose to add new music by syncing your device.
You don't have to use syncing to do this?
I never sync any of my devices to put music on it.instead my iTunes is set for manual management of music and video. I almost never have problems putting music on my iPod and obviously much fewer than those complained of in questions like yours which are posted here in the thousands - including loss of music to put songs on my iPod.
Manual management is just clearly superior in every way and it works on iPods, iPhones and iPads both new and old. I've tried it on first generation nanos, iPod 4, iPad 3 and iPhone 5
- Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
- Is there a way(without computer)to move my texts from my iPad to my IPhone? ICloud backup? Had to restore phone to last backup and lost texts? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
