I have a 8gb iphone 4.and no space?

I have a IPhone 8gb 4 with no storage left. I have 4 apps, no music, and 156 pictures. I've deleted and deleted so many things that I can't delete any more. Please give me some advice or help on how to fix this problem. I would really love to take a picture.

Move your pictures to your computer then delete them from your phone.

Plug it into your computer and open up itunes to see what is using space (or go to usage in settings.) Move everything you can to your computer

Wow really? Something's wrong there then. I would recommend backing everything up and doing a factory reset then reload everything on it because tree is no way that amount of files should take up that amount of space.

Check and see what's using the space

You can format it once. Your handset will again come to normal mode after format. Before format your phone take back up of your phone's dada.

I'm assuming that in itunes "other" takes up the most storage, unfortunately this will be carried on from a backup. The only thing i would advice to do is to save your pics and have a fresh restore without the backup

  • IPhone used space and available space are far from adding up? On my phone it says 12gb used space and 1.5gb available but I have a 16gb phone, while leaves a 2.5 gb space gap. Does iOS take up that much space on its own or is something wrong?
