I have a dent on the back of my iPhone 5
It's about 1cm by 1cm big, not very deep but still noticeable. I always keep my iPhone in a case and with a screen cover. Sometimes I drop it with the case on, and perhaps it got dented one time when I dropped it on accident. I have had my iPhone for about 2 months and I'm pretty sure I have a full year of insurance from my phone company…
My question is, should I get it replaced or would it not be worth it? Is there any way I can fix it? It really annoys me, and I'm also worried that it might harm how my phone functions, will it?
Hi, I don't think it will harm your phone in anyway but as you say it is very annoying, maybe if you take it into apple they will sort it out but just watch they don't tell you just rub a black marker pen on it cos that's what they said about mine.
If its under warranty. Make use of it and get them to replace it.
- Will my texts come back if I back up and restore my iPhone? My iPhone 5s keeps saying I don't have enough storage but I've deleted so much I have a total of only 3 apps I downloaded and 130 pictures. My apps keep force closing so I've decided I should just back up and restore my phone on iTunes but will my texts come back? I've deleted most of my texts too there's just some I want to still have
- Will apple swamp Iphone SE if it has a dent on the bottom left corner? My phone has completely shut down it will not turn back on. It is totally unresponsive and all the methods the apple rep has told me to try will not work. I'm finally going to send it in for repair through the mail and hopefully they'll fix it. But will the dent prevent them from swapping the phone all together does anyone know?
- Will a dent in my mac book pro affect the hardware? The other day i droped my iphone on my mac, it hit to the right of the trackpad and left a small dent on the aluminum. Will this affect it in due time? Is there anything under that side that would have broke? It works fine right now.
- Back of my iphone is smashed, is it easy to replace the back myself? So. I'm in idiot and dropped my Iphone on hard flooring in my bathroom. The front is fine, luckily. Otherwise I would of flipped out. I need to know if it is easy to replace the back, i've heard of multi color backings as well. Anyone know if this is easy and if there's a place online I can buy a new back?
