Back of my iphone is smashed, is it easy to replace the back myself?

So. I'm in idiot and dropped my Iphone on hard flooring in my bathroom. The front is fine, luckily. Otherwise I would of flipped out. I need to know if it is easy to replace the back, i've heard of multi color backings as well. Anyone know if this is easy and if there's a place online I can buy a new back?

I recently replaced my old iPod touch 2nd gen screen that wasn't to difficult.

So I'm assuming you have the 4 or 4s.
And yes, the back is probably the easiest to replace. You just have to unscrew the screws at the bottom (don't be rough or hit any wires), change the back plate, and then you screw it back in. They have much more detailed explanations and demonstrations on YouTube. Or you can get written instructions through Google.

You're lucky, the front screen is a lot harder to replace.
