I have a global data plan for my iphone 4, but i'm not getting 3G in amsterdam?
I can use Wi-Fi in the hostel, but I would like internet when I'm out running around and I need directions and stuff. I already switched my data roaming to on in my settings and all that, shouldn't it work? Yes I activated my plan changes before I left. Isn't a data plan supposed to cover 3G? The Verizon guy said it should but I think he lied to me.
WELL DON't KNOW MUCH ABOUT NETWORKING, BUT I THINK you SHOULD VISIT your NETWORKS WALK-IN CENTRE, AND IF THE CAN't FIX IT, THEN I Recommend U CHANGE THE PHONE TO HTC PRODUCT HANDSET. IF you WANT I WILL TELL you THE MODEL TO BUY AND HOW you WILL CONFIGURE IT TO PROVIDE U THE MAP DIRECTIONS, MAY BE FREE INTERNET BROWSING AND So ON AND So FORTH JUST LIKE I DO WITH MINE.
- Will getting the 1GB Data Share Plan the right choice for a iPhone with At&t? I was wondering is it a right decision to choose the 1GB data share plan, since there will be only one line on the account? I don't know if that will effect my speed or what, I'm just trying to choose the right plan for an iPhone that will be the only line.
- Is the iphone 5 from sprint a global phone? Does it have a removable sim card? I'm currently doing a lot of traveling to Kuwait and a couple co-workers have Verizon sim cards and all they do is take there sim card out and replace it with a Zain one (which is the local cell phone carrier) and use it locally for calls in Kuwait is that even possible with Sprint?
- Is it possible to not have a data plan for my AT&T iPhone? I have Wi-Fi I can use almost everywhere I go, and I don't need it when I'm driving. I think having to pay that much a month for something I don't need is ridiculous. I actually have data turned off on my phone. I need it for calling and text, but not the 3G data.
- Is getting an iPhone/ S3 worth it without a data plan? My dad says I can have one if I find it for sale, but no data plan. Should I do that or just stick with a basic phone until I can get a smart phone?
