I have a iPhone 8 and recently updated my iOS to 11.3.1 every since I've updated my phone my Dre Beats X will not connect - 1

You can try to power off bluetooth for 10 seconds to reset the adapter.

If that doesn't work then I suggest you reset your network settings and try to pair them again. (You will lose any custom settings, such as Wi-Fi passwords, saved addresses ect.)
Tap Settings to open the app.
Tap General.
Tap Reset.
Select the option to Reset Network Settings.
If prompted, enter the device password.
Confirm action.
Also remove the Beats X if they were paired previously and go through the setup again.

The final step if that fails too would be to Back up the phone via iTunes or iCloud and restore it to the latest update. If the update package was corrupted it could've caused the issue.

Apple have a way of causing lots of issues with IOS upgrades. I had an in car charger that worked fine until the IOS 11 came out and now it won't work. I have no idea how they do this but i'm getting a little fed up of it and will soon be moving away from Apple and back to android.

  • Will my Beats by dre Mixr sound better on the Samsung Galaxy S3, or iPhone? Basically my old contract has ended and i'm looking to purchase a new phone, and it's between the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3. One of the main features that i'm looking at is the sound quality with the Beats headphones, as i also have an ipod but it's quite old. Is the sound quality better with the iPhone 5 or samsung galaxy s3? Sound quality with the Beats by Dre headphones comparing the iPhone5 with the SG3.
  • Why don't Beats by Dre Solo HD Work w/ iPhone 5? Got some beats solo hd to go with my iPhone 5 and the speaker doesn't work on the right side. After I checked, it says the solos are only compatible up to the 4s. Anyone know why the iPhone 5 isn't on this list?
  • Why do so many people hate on beats by dre? I paid 350 and the sound quality is amazing on my iphone 4s. People say they are a waste of money, but the people who say that is because they can't afford them. The design of the headphones are great so stop hating on them because you know you test them out every time you go to best buy haha.
  • What's better and iphone 5s or dr.dre beats? I have an iphone 4 but I wanna upgrade it to an iphone 5s. My parents said I have to chose one of those electronics. I want the phone because it has finger print and I want the headphones because I'm going to be traveling a lot this year so I don't know what to get.
