I have a water damaged Iphone 4s?
I heard for Apple to replace it, it would be $199.Is there anyway for genuis bar workers to give a discounted price or to replace my iphone 4s for a free iphone 4?
Nope, apple won't fix or replace a water damage iphone.

If you have apple care plus, it will only be 50 bucks to get another phone. If not, apple does not buy damaged phones. You would have to purchase a new phone.
Another option is that you MAY be able to sell the phone for parts and put that money towards your new phone. But apple isn't going to just give you a discount because YOU accidently got your phone wet. They don't feel sorry for you, unfortunately. I just had to purchase another phone cause i didn't have apple care and i crackced my screen. I have a iphone 5 so another phone was about 200 dollars. And then applecare is 100 dollars. I'm shocked that its 200 dollars to replace a 4s… You would think it would be a little cheaper… O. O
- Water damaged IPhone 4s. Is there hope? Today I idiotically fell into a pool with my iPhone in my pocket. It was submerged for about three seconds and afterward there was no display but it would still vibrate at messages and calls. I shook the water out of it immediately but I couldn't get it in rice for about 20 mins. I took out thr sim card and managed to turn off my phone and I'll let it sit in the rice for 24-48 hours. Is this just a lost cause or is there actually hope in me reviving my "child"
