IPhone is water damaged. Should I lie to apple?
I work at a day camp and my phone got water damaged. Should I lie to apple and say I have no idea why my phone doesn't work? I want to get it fixed for free but I don't think it's under warranty.

They can open up the iPhone and check the hardware, and they'll find that there's moisture inside.
You could, but they would know. First thing any phone company checks for is water damage. There's a little slip in the inner workings of the phone that turns orange when it comes into contact with water. The apple guy will check it and know it has water damage, and be a lot less likely to help you if you lied to him.
Go for it. What's the worse that can happen? Except for them saying no, you may as well.

so if it was water damage they would say you have to pay for repair cuz it's water damage how eva there. An orange thing inside your phone which goes orange cuz of water damage!
but why lie it's not lie just say i don't know what happened who cares they would alleast say sorry we can't fix it

You can't lie about water damage, there are sensor that turn pink when wet, once they look into the headphone jack or charger port and see its pink that will not fix for free, it will cost $299 minimum
