You can tell the Wi-Fi settings to use a particular IP address within your home or office LAN instead of the one your router assigns through DHCP. Getting a public static IP address through cellular data or for your router itself from your ISP is another story, and will involve more money and a call to your provider if it's available at all.
- Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
- Is there a way to forward calls to another number that are call waiting? Iphone 7? I know how to forward calls and set up call waiting but is there a way for forward the calls that are on call waiting to another site when I'm actively on the phone with someone
- IPhone 6s plus or 7 plus. I know the prices and what they do. But what I wanted to know is Did the 7 fix the home button problem? That s my main worry. I use my phone to text, check facebook, candy crush, look up info, and take the odd picture… Will I notice the difference between the two phones to be willing to pay more for the 7? Hoping for opinions for 6s plus and 7 plus from past of present owners.
- If you got a new iPhone would your iphone have a new static IP address? If you got a new iphone would your iphone have a new static IP address or would you need to also get a new number for that to happen?
