I have an unlocked iPhone 4S and another phone in a contract with AT&T?
I'm not really sure how phone plans work. I want to get service on my iPhone and just forget about the phone I have now. I don't know how long until my contract is over. Do I have to wait until my 2-year contract ends to get service on the iPhone? I don't want to pay a termination fee.
If the SIM card fits in your Iphone 4s then it should work if its a GSM phone. If not take the phone to AT&T and ask for a sim for the new Iphone 4s it will cost around $15. Then you can have the SIM activated and # moved to that SIM. They will not have you sign another contract since you are already on one.
If you are already on contract, the contract works on the phone line and not on particular phone.
So just go to your carrier store and get a SIM card which fits in your iPhone 4S. And they will disconnect the SIM from other phone… Without affecting your contract.
- Why do my iPhone messages keep getting sent to my phone and another phone? Whenever a message gets sent to my iPhone 4, my brother in Vermont also gets them on his iPhone 4S. So like ill be texting my friend and he can see the entire conversation and he can type. I don't get his messages though. I just wanted to know if there's an easy way to fix this because it just started happening about three weeks ago and none of us have gotten a new phone in a year. I'm not sure if it happened when he went back to College and he crossed a state border?

Long story short, I've had 32/64GB on every Apple device I've owned as I take plenty of photos/videos and having 16GB simply isn't enough. - I have an iphone 4 and my phone turned of out of nowhere and i have ios 7? This happened last night to. I had got ios 7 yesterday morning it was perfectly fine and the i got up to get something and then as soon as i come back it off. I thought it died so i connected it to the charger and it still didn't turn on i pressed the on button a bunch of times.
