Why do my iPhone messages keep getting sent to my phone and another phone?
Whenever a message gets sent to my iPhone 4, my brother in Vermont also gets them on his iPhone 4S. So like ill be texting my friend and he can see the entire conversation and he can type. I don't get his messages though. I just wanted to know if there's an easy way to fix this because it just started happening about three weeks ago and none of us have gotten a new phone in a year. I'm not sure if it happened when he went back to College and he crossed a state border?
Have youre brother his settings>messages and under send and receive make sure his phone number is selected. For whatever reason if your apple id is signed into his phone and it uses your apple id to send and receive imessages then that should be why messages are going to multiple phones.
Why do I get a copy of my own text messages on my iPhone
- My sent folder is not showing all the emails I have sent. Why is this happening? This seems to be random, with some showing and others not. Since Thursday, nothing I've sent out is in the sent folder. More worrying, on my iPhone, the entire sent folder has been emptied.
- My iphone 4 isn't getting messages when they are sent? Well i first started noticing this in group messaging, the messages would come through me phone 2 hours after the messages had been sent? Now it is happening with regular text messages. Is there a way to fix this?
- Messages sent from one iPhone showing up on another? There are 2 iPhones on one account. Just yesterday, a message was sent from one but it appeared on the other and the other received the reply. Something did come up on the original iPhone but it is not remembered what it said. It was about settings. It was working fine before. How to I put things back?
- Gmail sent from Iphone uses wrong sent from name? After getting married I changed my last name in my gmail account. When I send mail from my PC it uses my new "married" name. But when I send mail from my Iphone it still uses my maiden name. How do I fix it?
