I have crazy OCD, need advice?
I've had it for a few years now and it just seems to get worse. I have OCD towards my phone's battery life: every time the percentage goes down or just the battery goes down, I get really frustrated and rush to plug it back in. I refuse to use my iPhone unless it's on a charger (because I'm obsessed with the battery being fully charged). I also have OCD towards my car's gas gauge. If it goes down, I again get frustrated and want to go to a gas station and fill up the tank so it'll be full again. Usually it's extreme where I get angry and sometimes get violent. I really wish I could get over these obsessions, it's really starting to rule my life. Any suggestions on how to control this?
OCD doesn't exist. Not the way you were told.
You have hypoglycemia and it's a sign. We have 3 brains, rational, emotional and primal. If you run out of fuel you'll run on the primal, without much emotion or reason. It handle the survival functions… Usually repetitive… Like walking and breathing.

It's caused by adrenal fatigue, you need a lot of vitamin C to handle stress, and release fuel out of storage:

If you don't have enough resources to handle demanding situations, your primal brain will make sure that you're not stranded in a pinch. For you it's making sure that your phone is charged enough to call for help, and that your car won't run out of gas in the middle of no where.
The actual obsession or fear is irrelevant.
The problem is exhaustion of the adrenal glands that can't handle stress from lack of usable resources.
Become strong, well cared for, by yourself, with a optimally fed brain, and you will be confident even if stranded without gas or a phone. You can survive anything, so don't worry. A few hours without a phone won't make you loose your5 friends, you can walk to them, even without a car… There's bus everywhere… And you can kill someone with keys (probably) if they try to attack you.
Don't worry… The same power used to reassure you will be used to defend you in a pinch.
Tell your primal brain thank you, but my battery and gas tank have enough to last a long time. So cut me some slack would you? I'll just read a book or watch tv or something if I run out of those for a few hours.
My advice is that you should preserve them safely. If you genuinely want to control this, you should have physical self-discipline and mental control. Join Yoga and meditation classes and learn all these techniques systematically.

- IPhone newbie. I need advice? I have always had an Android. I dropped it and broke the screen. I was able to upgrade to an iPhone for free. My question is this: is there any app that has free songs on it already? Not looking for an app that takes me to a website. Androids have tons of apps that have tons of songs in their libraries. So far, I can't find an iPhone app that does.
- How to get over my ocd about scratches on my iphone? Okay so today i bought a new iphone 5s gold. And on the side where the gold is, there's a little SPECK that is scratches and its silver instead of gold. It's TINY literally like less than a milimetre squared. What do i do? I can't stop thinking about it. But it's so small. Like no one would ever notice it.
