I have had no service on my iPhone ever since i turned it on 6 hours ago

I'm in England on 3. I got my new iPhone 5 today and ever since i turned it on it has said 'no service' i have tried all the popular suggestions such as toggling airplane mode and manually searching for networks but none of that seems to work. Can you help?

3 are probably the worst network to pick… Ever. They don't have very good coverage. It may take a while for things to kick in and for the network to start working so leave it until tomorrow. Have a walk around see if it hooks on to the network later. If not, you'll need to return it to the shop where they will have to give you a refund. Don't bother ringing their customer services and if you do, don't use the 0845 number, use their 'sales' team number.
