I have iPhone 3GS, should I buy iPhone 5?

First of all, I can't change my phone brand since I'm an apple fanboy. My iPhone 3GS is becoming slower, camera focus not working and the home button is not sensitive as before (VERY ANNOYING). Should I get iPhone 5? I don't care of 4G LTE since I live in Egypt. I know it's not huge step from the previous version but a step from my iPhone 3GS. I'm scared of defected models ( scratches, Wi-Fi… Etc.)

Btw, I would by the unlocked version.

Added (1). What scares me is that many iPhone 5s reported to be defected, I don't want to spend the next years with defected or rated as worst phone.

Whatever floats your boat. If you need a new phone and your plan is expired, go ahead and get one. I would personally get one.

Hardware is by far better on iphone 5 obviously, including a much better battery and is 20% thinner and lighter even with a larger screen.

I like 3GS by the way, used it for many years but hardware is so much more advanced now and siri is a reason I'm moving to 5.

It really does depend on what you use your iPhone for. If you use it mostly for things such as texting, talking, taking pictures, listening to music and playing, games, then you might as well just stick to your 3GS. But if you're the kind of person who's going to need it for navigation, searching the web, using e-mail, as well, then you should definitely upgrade to the new iPhone 5.It actually is a huge step from the 3GS, and when you buy it, you will most definitely not regret it. It's a whole lot faster, and way more convenient compared to the 3GS.

No buddy buy sony xperia ion or sony xperia s. It is far better. It has better display and camera.more over android is booming and it supports 4.0.1 ice-cream sandwich.

Yes of course. IPhone 5 is the latest model for iPhone lovers. It has the best features ever have.

I would definitely recommend the iPhone 5. If you are really scared about defective models, wait a couple weeks or months so new iPhones will be produced.
