I have iPhone 4 and won't let me update my software?
5.5 GB used 882 MB Available update requires at least 2.5 GB of available storage I don't I have room to update my iPhone? I forgot to said I deleted all my pictures and most of my music off my iPhone still won't let me update iOS 6 If anyone can help me with this my e-mail address is jocelinelheureux@hotmail.com thanks.
Not much you can do but to make room. The iOS firmware is flashed to the device, and all of the work is done on the device, then the IPSW is removed after everything is completed. If you don't have enough space for the IPSW you can't upgrade. Simple as that.
Just take backup of your Data into iTunes. Or using iTools…
Then Update it.
- Why won't my iPhone 4s let me update my software to IOS 6? I've tried everything to try to get it to update! It's really starting to piss me off to the point of wanting to get rid of my phone and going back to my old android phone! Anything that may help is appreciated. I have 3gb available, so that isn't the problem. It says it's installing, then an error message pops up.
- My iphone won't let me update software because it doesn't have enough storage? Most of my stuff on my phone is music. I have the iphone 4 and it said I need 2.5 gb to update. If I delete some stuff on my phone and update it can I put it back on there without a problem?
- Is ''Iphone'' software only or hardware and software? I've never had an Iphone. I always see it anounced in an absolutely black device, such as this one: http://pective.com/m/iphone-5 I wonder whether, when you're going to buy one, you go to the apple store and buy the whole thing, or look for a Nokia or Sony smartphone and then go to the Apple website and buy and download the software into your device.
- IPhone software update. I did not agree to the terms and conditions and it downloaded anyway. Are there legal ramifications for Apple? My iPhone software updated overnight and prior to this I would always decline any software update and stayed on 10.1 iOS. I woke up to find the software was updated to 11.3 without my consent or agreement to the terms and conditions. That beeing said, what law, or rules were broken by Apple?
