I have just bought an iphone 4? - 1

I can use the internet on it where there's wi-fi like at home. When i try to use the internet outside i get this msg: could not activate mobile data network you are not subscribed to a mobile data service: does anyone know what this means and how i can rectify it, Thank you

Do you have data included on your plan?

You must be with a mobile service to get mobile data.

You should call customer support of the network you are on

Sounds like whatever you're trying to connect to requires a payed subscription. If you already have an account with them, you should contact customer support and ask them to active it for you. You might have to sign in to get certain services.

It means you have no wireless or cellular service plan from a wireless carrier like ATT, Verizon Sprint etc… You have no service… Your car has no gas… Like the chinese man says, "you suck bwo, you go now tow da stower and get a pwan!"… And because you are to far away from a Wi-Fi router, you have nothing

this aint rocket science.lmao! Did you think you get the iphone and magically have wireless services! Lmao Nothing is free… Wi-Fi is, only within 50-100 feet of the router… Lmao!

It's saying that because either you don't have any plan for the phone with a cell phone company, or the plan you have doesn't include data.

If you already have a plan, contact the phone company and add data to it. If you don't already have a plan, get one from the phone company that the phone is associated with (it's probably a Verizon phone or an AT&T phone, etc… You need to go to the same company for your plan).

P.S. If you *do* have a data plan, something's wrong because the phone isn't seeing it. Contact your phone company and see if they can fix it.
