I have no internet on my computer?
My router has internet and my iPhone has Wi-Fi but when I go on my computer it says that's there's no internet connection but I'm using the same internet connection right now on my iPhone and It works please help I have to type a paper and can't do it with out internet
1. Make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Ethernet cables should make a click sound once they have been inserted completely.
2. If your computer is using Wi-Fi: Make sure your Wireless adapter is ON, and make sure you are connecting to the correct wireless connection.
If this didn't help, consider this:
Did you ever yank on the ethernet cord while it was still plugged into your computer? Your LAN card could be broken.
Do All of your ethernet plugs on the router work? Do the front #s light up when ethernet is plugged in?
Have you downloaded any shady software in the past? Some viruses disable LAN/WAN. You could check in Task Manager for a shady process, or do a virus scan in safe mode.
You most likely have disabled the built in Wi-Fi.
Press the function key with a Wi-Fi symbol on it or enable it in your computer.

- Why does my new computer have a much worse internet connection than old? I just bought a 19.5 HP All in one PC, and the internet connection is very slow. On my old laptop, and iPhone the internet works flawlessly. I have tried scanning for viruses, restarting router, and restarting the computer. Nothing is working. Any ideas?
- Why does my iPhone still charge for Internet even when I'm not using Internet? So, I recently got a pay monthly plan with my new iPhone 4s. When i'm out and about I'm usually updating my twitter and Facebook account. But, when I'm put my phone down, 3G still says I'm using it and charging me. So do I have to turn it off when i'm finished? Or is there a much easier way?
- What is the oldest Mac Computer I can get that can have internet and play DVDs? I'm not really much on computers, so that is why I'm looking for something cheap, but still can have internet and play DVDs, and also if it can run videos as well. ( just for extra, can also connect with an Ipod/iphone)
