I have these abdominal sharp pains that later turn to stomach pains?
I was laying down on my back on my bed watching a movie in my iPhone. Suddenly, these abdominal harsh sharp pains started bothering and I tried to sit up but it was impossible! Then after finally being able to sit up, the pains went away and was replaced with a stomach ache. When it calmed down, I ate 2 cherries and a zip of cherry juice which in return brought back my stomach ache.
Up until now, I still have it. It hurts bad and I feel like using the restroom but then it keeps turning out to be a false alarm.
Right now, I'm drinking orange tea. Does anybody know what this could be? Anyway I can get rid of it for tonight?
Cramps… Take ibuprofen ahead of time if you know these feelings are starting to come. Trust me it works my doctor told me this and I've never had those horrible cramps again. Once a little pain starts up take em.
Tight muscles in your back can press into the nerves leaving the spine that go to the organs. Pressure on the nerves to your stomach will cause it to release more gastric acid to cause a burning pain there as it burns your stomach lining. As the lining is burned you will get a constant pain there that can be made worse by eating something. Pressure on the nerves to your colon or bladder can send your brain false messages of having to go to the bathroom. You probably did something earlier today that caused the muscles to tighten up for they don't get tight until you aren't using them, the reason so many pains show up the next day. To get rid of the pains you have to free up your back muscles to release the tight muscles pressing into the nerves and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do while sitting on a chair)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front, and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm as straight as possible. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, then release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
Sounds like a classic case of an OVERACID tummy. Quick, chew a
couple of Tums antiacid tablets. If not at hand use the 1920s trick of
putting a pinch of Soda (bicarb) on your tongue and washing it down
with a swallow of water. The soda neutralizes the acid and the water
dilutes it. I like the Walmart's tablets, peppermint, 150 for $2.
I chew a 'tums' each night after brushing my teeth. It does double duty.
It helps with bad mouth acids/cavities and keeps my tummy from
groweling in the night.
Pepto Bismol is an old favorite that is still around.
