I just updated my iPhone. Half my apps won't work - blank white screens. How to fix
I just updated my iPhone. The app store won't work. Some fixes suggest opening up "Date & Time" in setings. That freezes and won't open. The app store is a white blank screen, as well as many other apps. I tried logging out of apple id and logging back in, as well as restarting. Still messed up
It could be a corrupt update, it happens occasionally.
The "fix" is to do a complete reinstall of the operating system, just like with a PC that's got messed up.
Back it up via itunes if you do not already have a recent backup.
Then do a "DFU Restore", which completely erases the phone and re-installs the operating system.
Once it's ready to go through activation again you can select to reinstall everything from your backup, so it ends up with the same data and apps as before.
That can sometimes also fix minor niggles & things you did not even realise were not right…
