I look different in pictures, mirrors and pictures taken from someone else?
Basically i look in the mirror and i think i'm pretty, i've been told by people i'm pretty ot beautiful. I know that my nose is slightly turned a bit more to the right which means photos on my right side enhance it and thats why i always take pictures from the left side. Also one of my eyebrows is slightly just slightly lower. Now when i look in the mirror i'm happy with the way i look. The front camera on my iphone also reverses the picture to what it should look like and i look fine in that aswell. The normal camera on the back of the iphone is what i have a love hate relationship with. Everyone tells me i'm photogenic which i find hard to believe. When i take pictures myself inside or outside with the back camera my face looks fatter and wider, it makes my eyes look droppier. But when someone else takes family photos or pictures with same camera i look pretty! (Not sounding vain) and i look fine in every photo! Why is this? It makes me feel down about myself. I think if you want to see how people see you, you should reflect your reflection on a mirror onto another mirror. And thats what you should look like? Am i right?
Holding any camera at arm's length or closer (like stupid teens do with their phones) causes heavy distortion on the photo.
Of course you look different in photos taken from different positions. Taking a photo from arm's length using a wide angle lens is going to create a lot of distortion.
- Why does my pictures look alot different on my iphone than on my computer? When I take a photo of myself it looks a lot better on my iphone than on my computer. Why is this? I think it has something to do with the brightness on my iphone and computer but I don't know. How do I fix this problem? And my photo looks different on different computers. Like when I use my computer my photo will look completely different from when I use someone elses computer Its definitely the brightness but how do I fix the problem
- Why do pictures taken of tv screens look so bad? Every once in a while I'll be playing a game on Xbox and it bugs out leaving a hilarious image on my screen, but every time I try to take a picture of my tv screen the quality is terrible. My friends can do the same thing with the same phone (iPhone) and I have a normal flat screen HDTV, but they're pictures look great, sometimes even amazing with a little patience of eliminating any jiggle when taking the picture. Why is this? Maybe my tv (LCD) needs to be updated to an led?
- Why do I look different when I take pictures on my iphone horizontally and vertically? So I realized that every time someone takes a video or a picture of me, I end up looking really short (though I'm already short to begin with) and my legs look very chunky and look less like they do in the mirror. But if I take a picture horizontally, then everything looks kind of proportionate and more importantly, my legs are a lot more nicer looking and slimmer. Is there really a difference between taking pictures horizontally or vertically or is it just me?
- Why do I look different in pictures taken in the mirror? Compared to pictures taken of me or on my iPhone(front facing camera)? I find when I'm in front of a mirror taking a pic I look different. Is it because of the refection? And which one looks more like me? I'm guessing the one taken in front on the mirror?
