I lost my iPhone - it has a passcode on it. Will someone be able to see my photos?

It has passcode lock on and the imei was blacklisted within about an hour of losing it. However I didn't have Find my iPhone activated. Silly me! But I want to know if it is in someone's hands, will they be able to access my media? Through a computer or otherwise?

Added (1). I don't think there's any naughty photos haha. It's just that I have a lot of selfies and photos of family etc and it just worries me that someone could potentially see so many personal snaps of my kids etc.

I doubt it. Usually if the iphone is plugged into another computer besides your own, the only option they have is to delete all the information in order to use it again.

Are there some pictures you don't want people to see?

If there's a pass code lock as you said there's, they can't access any of your personal data.

Yeah they won't be able to. Someone gave me their used iphone and it had a password on it. However the person who gave me their used iphone forgot their password on it. I couldn't bypass the password to get to the home screen. I tried bypassing the password screen on iTunes by plugging into my computer. No such luck. Without knowing the password there's no way to retrieve or access any information from the user.

No only if they hack the password then yes
