I lost my iphone what should i do?

I lost my iphone and i was thinking of getting a new one, as soon as i lost it i called rogers and switched the plan to my blackberry, so thats what i'm using right now. I'm thinking of buying a new iphone (700$) from rogers, would they switch the plan i'm already using on the blackberry to the new iphone so i can use it instead?

Added (1). What happens if i buy an iphone off kijiji, will rogers still switch the data plan to it?

If you bought it without a plan then you can just switch it. I don't know, phone them and ask

If you have Find My iPhone enabled on your iPhone, then you can go to iCloud.com and locate your device from there.

Just sign in under your Apple ID and password. You'll be able to set your device in Lost Mode, and you'll also be able to remotely wipe the device clean.

If you have set up Find My iPhone on your device prior to it getting lost or stolen, you should try to locate where your lost phone is with iCloud. You can try to contact rogers to see if they can switch the plan you are using to the new iphone.
To prevent your new idevice from being stolen or lost in the future, I suggest you set up Find My iPhone/iPad/iPod in iCloud on the device and apply a free anti-theft apps like iLostFinder. It will take pics of the thief or finder when she/he tries to open your device and then send the pics to your email.

  • Somebody I know just lost her iPhone 4s - what should she do? She called me on her friends phone obviously. i tried to call her back but obviously she's using that phone of her friends so its engaged. i simply wanted to tell her to call her wireless carrier and tell them to cut the service off that phone cos if its stolen and in the wrong hands - that individual could rack up insane charges etc what's the FIRST thing she should do? About 3 months of pictures. So should I wipe the phone? Is there a way to get the photos from iCloud? If I wipe the phone would it delete the photos from iCloud?
