Added (1). She's just replacing it because she accidentally broke my iPhone X, that I did and do fully pay for. I still pay for my own service on my own plan, she just bought me a new iPhone X because she accidentally broke mine.
I think replacing something you broke is honorable, I fail to see how that's spoiling them, it's called doing the right thing and fixing your mistake.
Depends, did she buy you an Iphone X cause you got straight As?
Well, if your Mom wanted to gift you a phone, she did. Good for her!
Re-read your statement, especially the part about you being 22 and relying on your mommy for a phone.
I agree that it's reasonable for her to replace something of yours that she borrowed and broke.
That being said, she really only owed you the value of your used phone. She wasn't under any obligation to buy you a brand new one (unless yours was basically new).
To me, being spoiled is more about attitude than material things.
That alone doesn't make you spoiled, but that doesn't mean your not spoiled. If your friends tell you that you are spoiled there's probably something to consider.
You got what you want at no cost
You should be buying your own and not living with your mother.
- Would you buy a new iPhone every 2 years or 4 years? Why? If your not a fan of iPhones don't answer please. And would you buy the S models if you don't already own an iPhone?
- My mom and i got the same phone and same plan yet her internet loads all the time and mine never does? Two iPhone 7+. Same unlimited data plan. Yet literally no matter where I'm, nothing that uses data loads unless I'm connected to Wi-Fi. Yet my mom's internet loads no matter where she is. It's even happened that we're in the same place trying to load the same thing and hers loads while mine doesn't. Yes, I have my data turned on. I've made sure all my data settings are identical to my mom's. So i really don't know what could be causing this.
- I wanted a iphone and my mom bought me a 7! Not the 8? I'm so upset! My mom got me an iphone 7 for my birthday, but I wanted the new 8 and the X was just too expensive she said, but the 7? She bought me old phone! I know the 7 is water resistant, but if I drop it in deep enough water will that ruin the phone? Cause then I can get the 8 please help!
- How can I get my mom's old phone? My mom bought an iPhone 8 plus about two months ago. However, she had to switch carrier companies so she had to buy a new phone because the iPhone 8 wasn't "compatible" with that company. She still has the iPhone 8 but she doesn't use it at all. I currently have the iPhone SE, it works but it's just too small for my hands and I would like something bigger. I tried asking my mom for her "old" phone but she won't give it up. Any tips? PS- I'm only 14
